Patrice Blue Maltas (Vocalist, Songwriter, Playwright)
started classical training at the age of 15 with the Delphia Opera Company directed by Joan Brainerd.
Her first role was performed at age 19 as Mossetto from La Boheme in the late 1970s.
She has also performed in New York, on the east coast, and in local clubs in Austin, Texas as a singer/songwriter, musician, and recording artist. Patrice has been a member of the Danbury Opera Company and the Theatre Artist Workshop in Westport, Conn.
In 1994, Patrice wrote and co-produced her first one-woman show, “It’s My Dance.” She is currently working on her third one-woman show called “Resilience.” Patrice sings numerous styles of music from classical to jazz standards to her own music.
